Features of a Display hot case & how to use it efficiently. The showcase hotcake and is ideally ment for canteens, mess, bakery shops, restaurants etc. where food items need to be kept hot for long durations and then sold to customers. The display hotcase has Fixed see through glass on one side and two sliding glass on the other (opposite) side. The customer views the items placed inside the hotcase from the fixed glass side and points at which items he wishes to purchase, on the ot her side the seller slides the glass and takes out the food item. Placement of Hotcase: For effective usage the double sided hotcase should be placed on the counter in the middles so its easier for the customer to view food items and point it out and simmilarly easy for you (The seller) to take out th food items from the other end. Can we use the Display hotcase for keeping Lunch Boxes of employees Technichally yes, but as you don't need to display tiffins the Double sided glass feature would not be required. Therefore we recommend you should go for a model of hotcase without display from both sides from Glare brand which are also available with us. Preparing the hotcase to use it the very first time: When Using the hotcase for the first time pre heat Hotcase for about 15minutes. During the preheating process keep the Sliding Glass open. The new elements might emit some slight smoke for the first time it is heated which a normal, Therefore it is important to leave the door open for a few minutes to let the smoke escape.
